Does anyone know how to find out obout police auctions in the uk but not those sites that you have to pay for?

I heard that police auctions are the best way to buy stuff at a discount price but cant find any information about them except from these websites that you have to pay for information. Does anyone know?

  1. There is no such thing a police auction, it is all a scam! I know this because i fell for this scam later i was told by a police officer that there is no such thing.
  2. Yes they are great! I have brought two bikes and some electrical equipment from one in the west midlands. I found the information out from my local community officer when I had my bike stolen some years ago. They advise you to visit as so much stuff isn't marked and they cant trace the owner. Good Luck
  3. Maybe you should ask at your local police station. Or try this link: http://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk/XcAuctionPro.asp
  4. Police Forces use general auctions in their own counties to dispose of siezed, stolen recovered goods etc. You may find this site helpful though. http://www.police-information.co.uk/Docs/policelinks/auctions.html
  5. You have to join the police. Every month we recieve details about upcoming auctions. Either that or you have to goto your local auctioneers and pay for the information.
