I am looking for used car.some people suggest me to go with some police auction sites.Is it safe to go?

I am looking for used car.some people suggest me to go with some police auction sites.Is it safe to go because I have check few those websites and it's require me to register with them and even send or charge my credit card as a fee.It's sounds tricky to me.Should I go with using those web sites in order to find good cheaper and reliable car?

1. Have you looked on ebay. As for the Police site there are some good ones out there i have heard from many folks whom have had cars from them,and with great service records.To be on the safe side ring the Police up even if you have to ring a few up to see which ones the Police use explain your worried about a scam site so your doing it the right and safe way first.
2. Yes,it is safe You can find good cheaper and reliable cars there
3. Yes, however, I have found that some Police Auctions don't deal with cars (for some reason).
