How much does it cost for a dealer licenses so i can go to Auto Auctions?
i live In NY state and if i want to go to Auto Auctions in another state would it work there too? and where would do i go to get the dealer licenses?........thanks alot

- Go to the DMV website for NY state - they should have a section on dealer licensing. If all you want to do is go to auto auctions to buy a car for yourself and maybe a few friends and family, it won't be worth the expense. In addtion to your state fees (Mine were over $1000) you will probably have to pay for education before you can apply for your license. Then you will also need to be bonded and insured. You could be looking at $5000... Typically your dealer's license will give you access into any dealer-only auction anywhere in the U.S.
