This gun was purchased at an auction. Unsure of the worth or actually what kind it is. It shoots 22 cal. there is a serial number of "311551" on the handle and barrel with the word GERMANY. It has a buffalo on the handle, appears to be in a dark wood look, close to the barrel there is a small lever to reload the gun, unsure if the barrel flops out. I don't know where to go to look it up since it has Germany stamped on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you :) I added a pic link here in hopes a visual may help in identifying information. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd258/leggyone23/gun.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd258/leggyone23/gun1.jpg
It's a post WWII pistol made in Germany, likely the 1950s. They were made with cheap metal and were very inexpensive then. Not worth a whole lot today and not much collector interest.
I see these on the market on a regular basis and they sell for $50 to $100 depending on the condition and especially depending on how much the buyer wants it. You could always ask for more, there's a lot of people who assume guns are worth a lot and they may pay you more for it.
