what has happened to the Police Force?

Arresting a shop owner for having a life size model of Lara Croft in his living room (he was auctioning it on e-bay) and spending 13hrs in a cell. These jokers are being issued with tazers, should we arm ourselves against these morons and wear protective clothing, booby trap our homes and fight these dimwit plod.

  1. what about the young girl who was nicked for drawing on the pavement with chalk

    well done MR BLAIR

  2. d are doing my head in

  3. If you are a motorist you better watch out.You get less for murder

  4. This farcical situation has been brought about by government policies and rules that all but remove any discretion from police officers. The individual police officers are not to blame and are more frustrated with the situation than many people appreciate. If only the critics had the intelligence to stop pointing the finger at uniform infront of them and look at the reasons behind what is happening.

  5. Well obviously there is more to the story, what was he actually charged with, copyright infringement, theft, fraud? Someone obviously made a complaint and the police did their job. Police have many duites and many types of laws to enforce. It is their job to enforce all laws and not just the particular ones that you agree with. I do not agree with all laws but I have to enforce them. I absolutely hate it when I am spending some time on traffic enforcement and someone complains that I "should be catching the real criminals".

If you want to complain about a specific "bad cop" feel free but do not lump us all in together. (I doubt that the officers in this case were doing anything wrong)

  6. It is not the police force its bloody labour, Lets all stand against them.

  7. it's just a total joke these days, god knows what is happening, if your face fits i think, all the best

  8. Obviously, alot of you are referring to the Police Federation dossier of ridiculous arrests, spurred on by unrealistic and unnecessary political targets.

Do not blame the police alone, blame the government for their shortcomings - the amount of paperwork they have to do prevents them from getting on with countering crime.

FYI - they are not being issued with tasers, it's something that's been flagged up by Mr.Reactionary Jon Reid onto his wish-list. As he is leaving the Home Office next month, you can expect to see this idea disappear off the agenda for the foreseeable future.

Only AFOs (authorised firearms officers) are able to carry and use tasers in the UK and you don't get to be an AFO just by virtue of joining the police.

  9. Maybe the officer shot dead the other week thought it was Lara Croft in the house. Get a life a*** h*** go and collect your dole.

  10. I agree that it has gone ridiculous with things like this happening yet they dont seem to be so keen to clampdown on the gangs of scrotes hanging around on the streets making life a misery for everybody. Mind you, while said scrotes are making our lives a misery it gives them an excuse for actions like this doesnt it?

  11. When people say it is not the police force`s fault, I beg to differ.

Anybody with a little bit of ordinary common sense would not arrest a child for chalking on the pavement - most of us did this in our childhood.

The Police were not "forced" to arrest this child, no one "ordered" them to arrest this child.

It simply boils down to one thing - gross stupidty on behalf of the braindead retard officer who arrested this child.

And the police wonder why no-one respects them.

They want to get a life away from policing, as they are simply not cut out to do the job.....!

  12. I was beat up recently in Nottingham by 3 Police officers (the instigator was a PC Bartholomew) who accused me of hitting one of them and breaking another ones arm after a chase through the streets.

These were just a bunch of unintelligent thugs. To suggest arming these fools is ridiculous.

I had to plead guilty to an offence I was innocent of as there were no witnesses. The Justice system did very little to protect me as the general rule-of-thumb is: Believe the police office over the 'alledged' criminal as it looks bad for Tony Blairs country if the police are found to be in the wrong.

If I pleaded innocent I would get a fine instead of going to prison.

The police are a corrupt, money making organisation. If we arm these animals the street will be like Rio De Janeiro.

  13. I have answered a similar question today but it must be said again - the Police are only partly to blame.

How many of you park your vehicles on the pavement (one or two wheels will suffice)? What does the Policeman do about it? Nothing.

We have let standards slip and this is the result. Why do children cycle on pavements? No Policeman stops them.

How much litter is dropped on the street? Nobody thinks twice about it being an offence.

I think we should all wise up and ask ourselves where we have gone wrong in addition to castigating those who don't do their jobs properly.

Special note to the Policemen who have contributed to this answer:

Do you still share my views?

  14. The main fault lies with the lawmakers in as they write laws for lawyers and by lawyers. With loopholes where authorities such as the police can interpret the law to suit them. That is not right. Joe Blogg, Down street in Downtown, has no chance. The same goes for Local Authorieties. One interpretension should be enough no matter where. Laws should be written in an understandble languange.

Answer the following question from a police officer. "Have you been drinking? " "Yes, tea and coffee". Tell this truth does please the police and they can turn nasty. They will try to find something to nick you on.

Humour is not on their traning programme.

  15. When I was young (and yes, it was a long tome ago!) my parents always told me that if I needed help to find a policeman. That was back in the days before targets, speed cameras, PRP and political correctness.

Would I tell my seven year old the same? NO WAY!

However, it's not the fault of the officers who have to spend their days dealing with crap - it's all about politics and state control. The police have been slowly transformed from friends of the public to tools of political oppression through government paranoia.

Politicians are scared shiitless of being called to account for years of selling the country out to globalists. They know the general country is mad as hell, immigration is out of control, the NHS is screwed, there's widespread social unrest, gun and knife crime is spiralling and many inner city areas are virtual no go areas. They can't solve these problems 'cos they're too busy lining their own pockets and implementing stupid EU policies (another sell out) slowly driving this country to bankrupcy. Their only hope is ever more control of the general populace to suppress dissent.

Even the (experienced) police are getting sick of it and are now complaining about their lack of discretion and the stupidity of the current system. Experienced officers know their job is being made harder due to the lack of public support caused by indiscriminate policing. It's the young recruits that are increasingly the problem - fresh out of training (indoctrination?) and generally with bad attitudes - we're in charge - do as we say OR ELSE.

It chills my heart to think of these same young inexperienced officers armed with tasers. It's not the answer and will only serve to further destroy the last bit of trust left in the public - all it will take is one stupid incident. There's already multiple examples of US police totally misusing their powers and zapping people for minor, unwarranted reasons.

Remember - power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  16. The police have been bad for years and are getting worse. I place a lot of blame on police unions that stand behind these people no matter what they do. The screening process is almost non existent see my answer here

They have outlawed private ownership of body armor in some states and booby trapping our homes. We are stuck to fighting with cam corders and tape recorders. It is going to take an action group to maintain our rights. The ACLU and NAACP started because of civil rights violations many or most of which were by cops. perhaps if police officers were selected or at least some of them by draft from the military personell we have on duty we would get smarter more level headed cops. Even mixing in 1 draftee to 4 regular cops would cut down on corruption. But I think the best idea is a citizen's union, this organization could take and keep track of complaints (because we know the cops don't) that way when one cop gets many complaints against him there is a record of it rather then a chief lying and saying it's the first one every time. This info could then be brought to the press by an civic minded organization rather then just the recent victim. I know that some departments will not even give victims the form to file a complaint against a cop even though they are required by law to have these forms most citizens do not even know they exist. I arm myself against all threats and so should every other person in the U.S.

  17. Have we got one, ours finished years a go

  18. It's sad that you would use such a stupid incident to try and describe police officers and their jobs. Something tells me if these same officers arrested the dirt bag that just raped and robbed your mother you would be singing a different tune. Until you get the courage to step out from behind your computer, strap on a bullet proof vest and take on the worst society has to offer simply be thankful.....

  19. In the US, we waste more time trying to keep drunk people off the street than, locking up people murdering each other in cold blood. Where the hell is the common sense. I don't agree with drunk driving, but, if your letting out cold blooded murders, so you can lock up a guy with a .08 ,I say have one for the road, cuz, you may get killed in your sleep anyhow.
