Which online Auctions are ripoffs, and which are secure/honest?
There be a poop load out there, and e-bay can be pretty cumbersome by comparison. Need fast, safe sales (Recent Divorce) Art, collectables, coins, military, Nasa, Autographs, books, etc.

- I have done both sales and purchasing on E-Bay and have had very good results with it. I had two disputes that were handled by the other party with no problem.
You just dont send anything until the check clears or you cash the money order. Make this clear in your adds. Pay-pal makes everything faster and more secure.
Check the feedback ratings on the seller or buyer and make a judgment call. If I buy something I dont send checks or money orders through the mail, rather I utilize the Pay-pal. That way you can get help if in fact it does turn out to be a scam. If there is no Pay-pal I steer clear.
Always ship the item as soon as payment is recieved. Same day if at all possible. This will get you positive feedback resulting in return buyers.
