  1. Find out when the auction is going to be held.
  2. The police will usually announce when they are going to sell them. Call them I'm sure they will tell you.
  3. Only time I got a bad deal on a bike. You don't get to start or ride these bikes. Too easy to get something with problems that cost alot more than you think to fix.
  4. You can purchase a book of such auctions as on EBay. But i would be interested to see if you get a specific answer to your question as to places would like to know other than from guys on EBay.
  5. Answered on one of your previous postings.
  6. Search the web for "police auctions" and enter pertinent info.
  7. People sell lists of auctions, which in my opinion is a scam. Anyhow you buy the list of "hundreds" of auctions. There are only usually like 2 or 3 that are in your area or that sell what you want. So you pay a fee to attend the auction and you bid on what you like. Some auctions let you come out the day before and start up the cars and bikes but you cannot drive or ride them. There is a level of risk involved. Try visiting the sheriff's website because they hold auctions as well.
  8. I know Universal Salvage used to auction a lot of bikes from insurance companies but that was a few years ago http://www.universal-salvage.com - looks like they are called Copart now?
