How would you find police auctions in your area?
So many great things get confiscated and the man just gives them away...so I'd like to help take it off their hands.

- check with your local Police Department website and see if they have a link there. Otherwise go to www.GovDeals.com
- Newspaper advertisements..........................
- Go to www.google.com type in police auctions in type in your postal or zip code
- The man does not just give them away. Search Yahoo for police auctions and you will find your answer.
- They are required to announce it in the local news paper. Keep checking the legal section.
- Call the local police department. Usually you get forwarded a couple times but the 3rd person will be able to tell you what you need to know. I've gotten some nice stuff there myself.
- Blackmule has answered your question correctly. Law enforcement is required to announce forfiture auctions which are normally accomplished through the legal section of your local paper!
- usually, they are advertised local police departments usually auction off lost/stolen items once a year- generally these auctions are advertised in advance. You can always call your local pd to find out when they have the annual auction
- go to www.propertyroom.com...You will find recovered items from all over the country...
