I bought an item off that well known on-line auction. I have not received the item after 4 wks.?

I payed for the item using my pay-pal account. I am going to make a claim to get my cash back (like they promise if the item gets lost in the post) My question is......Can anyone tell me what Happens when I make a claim.(What is the procedure) Thank you kindly.

1. you will only get your money back if the person you bought from has money in there paypal account.


2. If its a claim via royal mail you will need the person sending the item to chase it up for you. Via paypal you can set a claim form up where both members have to make contact etc to resolve the issue


3. open an unreceived item dispute. if the guy then still doesn't give you your money back then escalate it to a pay pal claim and they will refund.


4. i had a similar problem in nov disputed the non arrival of artical but still have not heard back from pay pal

6. After a very long dispute Paypal coughed up -very reluctantly. They have scurried off to Luxemburg to avoid prosecution by the FSA in UK. I would trust them as far as I could throw them.


7. Being honest, you've lost your money,, there are some really dodgy scams on that site. I once sold a flat screen tv, the person received it, kept it for weeks then decided he wanted his money back. Now paypal have given him his money back (even though i have not received the tv back from him) so this guy has received a free tv and i'm being demanded to pay the money that he should have paid. DONT GO ON THESE SITES
