If you purchase items on eBay or another on line auction what items do u usually look for?

I am trying to start an ebay business and just would like to get a consensus of possible items that potential customers would be searching for online.

  1. Music/DJ/Production hardware, photography gear ...

  2. Like the saying gos "you cxan get anything on Ebay". Me personally i allways look at the sellers track record from his buyers thats the best advice

  3. I buy everything on ebay, mostly electronics and electronic accessories though, I bought my Zune on ebay, as well as all of the accessories for it. I bought my Moto RIZR z3 on ebay and a case and memory card for that. I also buy games (xbox360 and wii) and accessories (controllers and memory cards etc.) Occasionally I buy clothing related stuff on ebay too like suits, ties, and sunglasses. Hope that helps. The best thing to sell on ebay as a seller in my opinion is stuff that is rare or unique but highly sought after. One time I sold an 80s keyboard for $30 that I bought for 0.50 at a garage sale. It takes some experimentation.

  4. This is why there are millions of things oneBay. And yes, there's a star and a 229 by my name there these days....what DON'T I buy there? I look at eBay for whatever I need for my dogs (leashes, harness, etc), I bought this laptop there, anything old that I had when I was a kid and want to re-capture the charm of ( books, games, watches, mood ring.....). It's SO hard to know what will sell. I get a lot of specialized clock and watch tools there. So does everyone!

    Old tools would be great!

  5. In response to your question...

Your best bet is to get some software and tools for eBay keyword mining. Some of them are actually free, the others you need to buy because they are better. But here's the thing, you need an eBay system, a proven successful formula. I don't know what type of database storefront you are using but you might want to consider a better one.

If you are using eBay's kit to build your store, there's a new database storefront on the market. This website store is capable of making money from Google AdSense ads, and it's search engine-friendly, meaning you can also get high page ranking -- if you are interested in getting free traffic from the major search engines. That would be Google, MSN,

    Yahoo!, etc.

The new store is faster, has better navigation and if you are dealing with affiliate links, which you really should (paid by commission), they are automatically embed into all the products you are showcasing. I believe you can do only one affiliate link embedding per script, when using eBay's kit. There are too many benefits to mention. You'll just have to check it out.

I am going to give you a link to 3 sites where you can research. You just have to put some time into researching.

I really don't believe you will find much help with your question here, as far as figuring out what people want. You have shoppers from different countries with different time zones. You just neet to find and learn a system.

    Here's the 1st link:
