I bought a pair of Nike trainers from a well known on-line auction site?
They were brand new with the box. How do I know if they are fake or not. They look real. And is there such a thing as "fake" Nike trainers? Thank you very much.

- there is such a thing as fake nike trainers Ebay has its own site instructions and if you look in the left hand column at the bottom it often gives you tips on making sure its genuine.
I always look for the hologram strip which is inside every nike product, if it reads nike then its for real.
Nike trainers are v.cheap on ebay, I sold a pair of genuine nike trainers, bought from a nike store, brand new in box and they went for 99p. This means they costed more to post out. And the original cost? £109
- well me old muppet!!!!! compare them to the real one either on web site or instore .......and as for fake Nike ...thats like saying do bears pooh in the woods !!!!

- In a lot of cases Nike (or whoever) will contract a factory to make 'x' thousand pairs of trainers.
In manufacturing there is a 'run-in' time for a production line, correcting minor faults until Quality Contol says OK - there is also a run out time on the line to cover any below standard products during the full run (glitches when changing spools etc)
Nike only pay for the amount they ordered and have received, which leaves the manufacturer a cart load of Nike trainers.

fake nike trainers it depend on the price is if £30-£40 or $15-$25 then fake
