How do i find out how much my baseball/basketball cards are realy worth? For free!?

I have some vintage baseball/basketball cards that i am thinkg of selling. I do not wanna get sc****d if they are worth money. And am pretty sure that they are. I have looked in a few places like online auctions and have a vague idea of what they are worth but i would like to have facts. I would realy appreciate it if some one could help me out. Thanks

  1. Take them to comic/card shop, they have catelogs with lists and prices.

  2. Easiest way is to look them up on eBay. Say, you have a George Brett rookie card, find someone else on eBay that is selling one and watch the auction until it ends.

Once it ends, you will get an idea on how much the card is actually selling for.

Keep in mind that card quality makes a huge difference in it's selling value. The more prestine the card is, the more it's going to be worth.

Remember, the card is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Otherwise, ask someone for their beckett.com login.....I had one but I let it expire. Sorry.

    Hope this helps.

  3. good question if you find out let me know

  4. Send them to me and I'll tell you. :-)
