Can anyone tell me what this coin might be worth?

I purchased this coin in an auction and dont know if I spent too much. This is the description 1974-D US Lincoln Cent Coin Graded ICQ-MS67 RD (COI-4277) top graded ICG accurate Red From this description can anyone tell me what this might be worth, if anything? I tried contacting online coin collector sites and none replied. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. ICG is a professional grading service. The 1974-D cent had a mintage of 4,235,098,000 so it is far from scarce. Some one had the cent graded to see if it was a very high grade and it was up there but not high enough. The coin can be bought for $10 and up to around $15. It really costs more money to have it graded than it is worth. The reason no dealer got back to you, is they do not want it. There are more around than there are people buying them. This may change in the future so you might as well hold onto it for 10 years or more. Hope this helps
