How do online shops/auctions work? Are you allowed to just buy stuff in one country and sell it in another?

When you are selling items online and people from other countries purchase it, do you not pay taxes and fees that may apply to imported items in that country?

1. Yes, you can sell to people in different countries. There are no taxes as most of the items you sell/ buy goes into a box and ship/ airmail to the recipient. You have to bear the shipping and cost of item. It is not consider import or export as most trades are undertaken by people like you and me, not as in businesses.
