Bidding on Gun Broker. com?
Does bidding on GunBroker.com work the same way as Ebay? For example, if I win an auction with a bid of $500. and the next lowest bid is $450., what will I pay? On Ebay the total auction price would be $455. What about Gun Broker?

- Much the same. You can enter the max you are willing to pay, and the auto-bid system will bid in increments until it reaches that amount. GunBroker is in general a good community of people, but do pay attention to feedback. I read the feedback of everyone that I trade with. Remember that you will need to have an FFL to receive your purchases, or have arranged to have the gun shipped to a local dealer.
- The concept is the same. You put in the top price you're willing to pay, and your winning bid will be just enough to beat out the next highest offer. Unlike eBay, not only do you have to pay for shipping, you have to pay for an FFL to send and receive the gun. This can add up to $100 to the total, so be careful. Contact the seller, and find out what the FFL at their end will cost. Make friends with an FFL in your area, and find out what they charge to receive. I've bid on may a gun on GunBroker, but only won a couple, because I'm not willing to pay more than a gun is worth. For example, if I think it's worth $250, and the shipping and FFL fees are going to add up to $75, then I won't bid over $175. Other people will bid right up to the gun's value, and then be all surprised at the extra fees.
