i bought a car from online auction didnt realise it was manual can i change it to auto its a 2002 holden astra?

by the way i don't drive manual is it possible to change it to auto i bought it very cheap $1,700

2. I've done it. You need transmission, new motor mounts, bell housing, shifter, linkage and completely redesign the differential hump inside the passenger compartment. You need the parts for the shifter console. The driveshaft is also longer and should be rebalanced at a driveshaft specialty machine shop. Of course, I had two cars to cannibalize for the parts and garage space to do this. In short, you will spend way more than $1,700.
