Where to hold an online silent auction?
I'm looking for a web site to run an online silent auction. It has to be very cost effective (free is best) and will allow us to list all items together in a single auction (ebay won't work). I would like to upload pictures for my items and have flexible bidding options. Any suggestions?

This site specializes in private silent auctions. The auctions are free and you can control who participates in the auction by setting an id and password. It also has all the other features you are looking for.
It worked great for an auction I hosted recently. I used a different site in the past, but found it to be too much of a risk to pay a sum of money upfront with no guaranty of raising any money. This has been perfect for my silent auction needs.
