i have around 2700 dollars, what kind of car can i get?
I don't want anything too flashy. Just something that wont carp out on me in the middle of the highway. Are there any good sites for this? How would I know that the car I buy is reliable? I heard police auctions are a great place to start. Any advice?

- To the girl above me: He can totally get a car for $2,700! Now to answer your question: Look on Craig's List. Usually for that amount of money, you can get a car anywhere from the late '80s to the mid '90s. Police auctions site are great places. My friend bought her car at one of those. That's as far as I know. Good luck!
