What types of items do you look for when shopping online auction sites?
I am interested in selling online and I am curious to know what items are more popular than others.

- mostly electronics, because you can always get good deals on them online
- designer sunglasses,purses,video games,cellular phones,laptops,mp3 players,..all i can think of at the moment
- The question being asked is a moving target . . . what people are looking for changes, shifts, evolves . . . and surely is an ever different market all of the time. If you wish to do some indepth research on what people have been searching for (and again this is historic data) go to a site like Word Tracker (there are other search software that do similar data tracking) . . . and have a look (from your perspective) what has been popular. The people in the web site world (making money on line) use this type of technology all of the time to be on the edge of what is going on. although one is always a "little behind in interests" if one can get a web site up quickly and respond to different waves of interest as they rise and fall . . . one can do quite well in this approach. The advantage in the auction world is that is an old and true way of selling and buying. people understand it and use it regularly. Looking at ebay and research there will show you what is being bought and sold as well. Good luck
