Art internet appraisals....????
My sister is an excellent artist and I want to sell her work online on ebay to hopefully encourage her to paint and draw more, and to ultimately show her that she can make money with her talent. She has recently painted me a fleur-de-lis painting to decorate my room with. It has excellent detail with excellent shadowing. I thought about listing it on Ebay and then cancelling the auction at last minute just to see what her painting would attract. But I just hate to start an auction and then end it for that purpose. I figure she could get $50 or more for this painting....I would honestly pay that for it. Is there anywhere on the internet I could upload her painting to and it be appraised....or is there any artsy person out there that would be willing for me to email them this painting and you can tell me what you think. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help. Thanks in advance.
