1. As for a name... something basic yet related to the topics, I hate websites with name about 1000 charaters long, lets face it who wants to sit at a computer for and hour just the reach a website... As for the contant I would say it looks like a lot for one website but they do all tie in and are all related to each other, I would suggest go with it and be experiemental, after all you can always update your site...
2. I think this has already been done by sites like Yahoo, Google, MSN, etc., so nothing new in your idea at all.
3. I think you're too late. Yahoo! has all that and more.
4. sounds really good...but make sure that it wont be confusing! you want all kinds of people on this site, right??? so you cant just make one part good and all the rest you act lazy, youll have to work really hard. you could have competitions for people to earn points. they can go onto levels (kinda like this one)competitions like: What is the number one shopping industry in the world? for shopaholics and so on...like questions of the day! for the image, audioe etc. you could try to get quotes of the day from all different kinds of TV programmes, movies etc. for hot scripts you could get people to give scripts a rating out of ten and for forums you could have questions of the day about whatever the foroum is 4. there are LOADS of things you could do. try to be original with the name. a site i found could help: http://www.networksolutions.com/ i cant wait 4 the site!
