is there any site i can find to find out when the police have an auction to buy items they get rid off .

- id like to know about this too.... did you the know the airports do this too with your lost luggage! but i dont no where to find that auction either
- put police auctions into the yahoo search engine - several come up. Also check your local classified section - announcements are usually published - some agencies are starting eBay stores to get top dollar for property.
- go to stealitback.com I have purchased items from them...they are good and ship out quick.

- If its the UK then try this site http://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk Alot of police forces use this however alot of it is just lost property, thought there is some seized property like cars and bikes but in bad condition.
- Just ring your local police force. (not on 999 obviously). They will tell you who handles theirs. Ask to be put through to the property office. They tend to work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday though. They will know where stuff is sent.
