Are preban 30 round AR-15 magazines legal in CA?
I am listing several pre1994 30 round AR-15 magzines on an online auction site and a gentleman from California emailed his interest in purchasing them. He is aware that I cannot sell nor ship him a complete magazine, whether whole or in parts. He has told me that I can legally break them down to the individual parts..ie mag body, floor plate, follower, and spring and that it is legal to sell and send to him all of the parts except for the springs. If someone knows the law on this I would appreciate a web address covering this exactly. No opinions please. I need solid law and the web address (or police officer phone number) to go with it. I'd like to sell these as I have tuition to pay, but I am not about to break the law in the process. Thanks. Nevermind. I found the answer myself a couple mins ago.
