Also - how does one find the real govt auctions, not private internet marketing sites masquerading as govt auctions?

I attended several Customs Service auctions in Edison, NJ, that were run by a company called EG&G. EG&G is contracted to the Customs Service to hold the auction, so these are the real government auctions. The Web site for the US Treasury Department is below, showing the upcoming auctions. I got an amazing deal at the first EG&G/Customs Service auction that I attended and a couple decent deals after that. There is some AMAZING merchandise there.
