Has anyone ever purchased a police impounded vehicle?
And what are those fees you have to pay for the auction? Every site I have been on has required some kind of monthly fee or an annual fee. What is that about, is it some kind of scam?

- yeah well why would you buy a impounded vehicle when you can get a new one or atleast a use one maybe you should think about that
- ok i am from San Antonio TX, the police auction is free here, you sign in and they will give you a biders number, then you check out the vehicles. once you purchase a vehilce there is a buyers primium added to the price that you bought the vehicle for. For Example bought the vehicle for $500 the primium is 5% so the final price is $505. the thing is that we cant hot wire the cars to hear them, so what i look for is if the vehicle has water in the radiator and oil in the engine and trans (if automatic, manuel trans dont have a dipsitck) so good luck
