Are any of the on-line gun auction sites either owned or administered by e-bay? I just concluded a transaction on one of the gun auction sites and received an e-mail from the seller that clearly was routed through e-bay. How can this be? The item purchased was a firearm (properly transferred through a licensed gun dealer of course).

Is there any gun that I can buy for about $100? I'm on a tight budget and I want to buy a gun. I won't use it for defense or anything like that, but just to have fun at the range. I went to a gun show trying to find something under $100 but I couldn't find almost anything for under $200. I know that quality guns are expensive but I feel bad that I can't even find a used gun for cheap... Any sugestion where can I find a good deal? P.S. I've tried to go to the gun auction sites, but after shipping, and the FFL fee all the savings are lost. P.P.S. What is the value of my gun? I have a Mosin Nagant M44 Izhevsk, it was made in 1944. All numbers and markings are matching. The barrel is shiny on the inside. The stock is not a laminate stock it is the regular wooden stock. It has the folding bayonet. No missing parts. The serial number is MN6963. It is in good/great condition. I just want to know what it is worth. Thanks! PS: I have already checked gun auction sites, I am not having luck with them because i cant not find any that look like mine. What does it take to legally purchase a silencer in the USA? I have some rifles that i enjoy shooting in my rural Iowa backyard, as well as in the near future planning on getting a Tactical USP45 handgun, which already comes with a threaded-end barrel and raised sights, ready for a supressor. I had always dismissed the supressors i'd seen in gun magazines or on gun auction sites, assuming you would need to have an FFL to posess one (i understand though that anything like that will need to be shipped to an FFL, i have a friend with one for that) but lately on here i have seen people talk as though a simple $200 tax stamp allowed a 22 year old USA citizen such as my clean-criminal-record self to then purchase a professionaly built silencer/supressor for my firearms (most likely just the USP to start) since while i always use hearing protection, it would be nice if i didn't HAVE to (bad ear though mandates it with anything louder than .22LR). So where would i start in trying to facilitate my owning a silencer? And i'm not building one! Naughty! And yes i understand that the effects are not anything like hollywood portrays, but i'm just saying that if there was a way i could have a silenced USP45 that allowed me to shoot in my yard (i have enough room to set up some cardboard targets for a tactical course, i know of some people in town who are really into this stuff also). I have a weak left eardrum that pops for a few hours if i shoot anything from a .38sp or .223rem or larger, so if i could reduce my .223 or a .45acp to being a sound closer to that of a .22LR or .17HMR, then i can safely fire without hearing protection. I'm not going to be heartbroken if this is a next-to-impossible kind of thing, where if i'd be better off trying to get an FFL license first is the amount of work it takes, i can just settle with not having one. I primarily just want it for putting on the Tactical USP45 for the sake of it then being more unique, cool, and more of a militaria sort of thing in regards to collecting guns. Like how it's cool to have a bayonet for a gun you probably would only use for hunting deer (like a G3 .308)
Have the Czechs stopped exporting CZ-52 handguns to the U.S? For awhile, up until a few months ago, every surplus website out there advertised these neat little handguns for sale, and usually included all sorts of entertaining little facts (like "Most powerful handgun ever to be a standard-issue item in a military" and "unique roller-locking mechanism"). Suddenly, they now appear only on the gun auction sites, sold one-by-one by individuals or dealers. What happened? Have the Czechs stopped exporting them? Have they been placed on the import ban list by the U.S.? Has the supply simply run out? Anybody know? Vangion, I just used the search feature on http://ioinc.us (Inter Ordnance) and didn't come up with any. And AIM Surplus doesn't list them anymore either. Am I doing it wrong? Or are these different outfits than the ones you meant? I really would like to know about the 52s. Thanks.
I have been ripped off on an online auction, what can I do? Recently I heard about a new auction site for guns and ammo. I contacted and purchased some hard to find target ammo for my rifle. The seller requested that I use a USPS money order to pay him. This is not out of the ordinary for this site. So I sent the money, and now this guy has been ducking and dodging phone calls and email going on 3 weeks now. He has given me 3 different shipping dates that the package was supposedly "scheduled" for pick up. Since the last date for shipping he has not responded with promised tracking info for the package. My question is, what can I do to get my money back?
What is the process of buying a handgun from overseas? I'm just looking for a specific handgun with ammo. All of the auction sites that have it here have continually sold it out or have it for very expensive with no ammo for it. With that in mind, I'm thinking of going overseas for it. Seller miss leads with description item is illegal? I bought a self Defence item off a auction site. When I got the item it was a stun gun, which I knew was illegal but if I took it to police thought I would get charged with possesion, was watiing for amnesty. But police got the selller and my details on his pc, came to my house I handed it over told them and told them what I thought I was buying, I have been charged waiting for a report going to Fiscal to see if its going to court the receipt I got just says Self Defence Personal protection device. I have never been in trouble before and have a shotgun licence. Any advice or whats likely to happen to would be great thanks
What is the approximate value and should I shoot my Winchester 1894 made in 1907? I have been given a winchester 1894 from my father. The rifle has a 20" barrel, has all the original parts. It has one wing of the upper site broken off and some minor scratches on the stock and forearm. I did bring this gun into a gunsmith to have it inspected and cleaned. He told me that this gun is in the best condition he has ever seen from an 1894 that is this old, being made in 1907. He also told me that it is in perfect working condition and that I should really shoot it and enjoy it. Is this good advice or should I just get it insured and leave it in the gun cabinet? I am just really curious about what I have on my hands and if I should really shoot it without loosing it's value. I can give anybody pictures if needed. I would truly appreciate any information available about my gun. I have looked at all of the auction websites to try and find a gun like mine and I haven't found one yet. There are just too many variables and mine is not like any of them yet. By the way, my gun has a 20" round barrel, saddle ring, and a crescent butt plate. Thanks again.

Where may I be able to find an orignal Jericho 941 with both barrels? And find more barrels that fit? I'm just looking for this gun because the notion of it has sentimental value to me, and I understand it's also very customizeable. I don't care if it's a "crap" gun, or if there is a better type that you want to tell me about, I know this is what I want, but I'm having a difficult time finding one that isn't on a stupid auction site. Does anyone know where I may find this firearm? Also is there actually a way to fit it with another barrel? I would like to have it to target with and make it well rounded when I have the money for whatever kind of munitions I could afford at the time. If it's possible to fit it with different calibur barrels, where may I find those barrels? I know I want to find a 9x19 parabola(I think that's right, I'm just now getting into guns) to start with then work my way up. I figure ever since this gun has extremely sentimental value for me, I believe it would be a good "carrying beginner's" weapon; a beginner's weapon that I would use even if I become expert. sporterized rifles? okay so everytime i sporterize a old military rifle alot of yalll say it will make its value go down alot now i would like to see one of these sporterized rifles yall say go for 150-200$ (98 mauser) show me one on one of the online auction sites i cant find one that has been sporterized to a cal like 30.06 .308 .270 .243 go for any less than 300$ yall find me one of these 150$ guns and itll probly be my next purchase
