real estate online auction? I'm interested in buying my first home. It is part of an online auction. I'm not familiar with the whole process but it's kind of like ebay but for homes. My concern is what I will be getting myself into bc I don't actually have an agent that's working for me. I'm doing it all by myself. There is an inspection date coming up and the house appears to be in good condition. How do I know if the previous owner owed back taxes on the house? And what else should I look for before committing to winning the property?
where can I go to find real estate auctions in New England? Where should I check? I have searched online and all I get is these stupid sites that are not really "auctions". I would prefer to actually go to a physical auction.

Where to find land for $15,000 or less within 30 miles of downtown Houston Texas? A few months back I found land for $10,000 in Spring Texas on e-bay, but did not have the savings back then and have had no luck finding similar values so far. I am just looking for a basic .5 acre-or-larger lot to invest in (and later build a home on). Are there any online sites, real-estate, auction, or otherwise that would sell land in that price range (that wouldn't be more than 30 miles outside the city), for a clear title?
I am interested in investing in real estate. Are buying properties through tax sales a good investment? From what I've found out, it is possible to purchase property for the back taxes that are owed, but unpaid. I would like information on how to find these properties and how to purchase them. I think there's an auction. Do I have to attend the auction in person, or is it possible to purchase online, like on ebay? I live in the central area of California (Fresno). Is the procedure different for different areas of the state or country? Is there a website where I can go to obtain more information on this subject for my area? Any information you can provide would greatly help. Thank you.

want tupperware tiny, gadgets, consultant awards, prizes, estate /other lots, also Germ, Austr, Asian, USA? I want to buy tiny tupperware. These all look just like the real thing, but are never directly sold by tupperware to the public. They are usually keychains, magnets, tiny versions of real gadgets. They are given at parties as favors and others are little trinkets t'ware gives its sellers as awards. Slightly bigger versions are sometimes sold as toys. They are all over ebay some of the other online auction sites, but seem hard to find anywhere else. Does anyone know of a good estate sale comany or auction house or business liquidator or sale where everything is not all picked over and decimated by the time public even gets a look? I am in the North Atlanta area but will travel up to 100+ miles for a large collection, even better for several large or very old or interesting collections.
buying and selling a house? we have just bought a house through auction and plan on putting a new roof on it and selling it. does anyone know if there is a time line on keeping the house before we sell or could we sell it without even putting a roof on it? we bought it from a real estate company on an online auction if that makes a difference. also it is in a different state so we would like to sell it asap.
Home Auction Etiquette? My husband and I have been house hunting and on a popular realty website, we found the *perfect* house. The problem? It's being auctioned off. We realize that we will almost undoubtedly lose at the auction. We don't have a great deal of disposable money and we've got a baby on the way to pay for as well. But we desperately want to at least try for this house. Before the live auction, the house is up for auction on-line. The seller can choose to refuse the highest on-line bid and go to an on-site auction. Here's my question: is it considered uncouth to email the representative for the seller and ask what kind of interest has been shown in the house, if there is a reserve, etc? Should we instead have our real estate agent do the digging? I'm just not sure what is appropriate behavior for online and then on-site home auctions. Thanks so much for your time! I appreciate the answers thus far. However, I'd like to point out - my question is not *Should I buy this auctioned house?*, my question is *What is protocol for inquiring for an item being auctioned?*
Now I am at the adverse possesions, rent or lease to own? With getting legit forms from consumer affairs, licensed real estate agents or brokers, do I go online or to a bank or lending institution to get a list of houses closed by the bank, abandoned houses, and try the internet; what about a list of houses going to be auctioned and sold.
A forclosed Home, NOD for sal? I found this house online on yahoo real estate it says that its amount is $8,051 "This property is a Notice of Default. This is the initial document filed by an attorney or trustee on behalf of the foreclosing lender that starts the foreclosure process. This 1856 square foot property has 3 bedroom(s) and 3 bath(s). The estimated loan balance is $8051. To access more extensive information on this property click the 'more property detail' link below. You will need to register for full access. Information listed with each property including estimated loan balance is derived from sources deemed accurate but we do not guarantee the accuracy of such information. Please consult all relevant title documents prior to purchase..." Does it mean that its up for sale for that price, or is their an auction or something that starts at that price, how can I know how much it costs?
Is buying a house in Australia auction only? My fiancee is getting a job transfer to Sydney. I have been looking online and there's really no place to see all the listings in once place and by what I am gathering I seem to think that Australia's main residential real estate is done by auction. Am I wrong? Is the process of buying a house similar to Canada/United States? Also, is there a place where I can type in what our criteria is for a house and see all the houses in that criteria for sale? A multi-listing type deal? I guess I am just confused on how to find a house in Australia! It's hard to do over the web. Thank you!
