Can you convert a pop-up style VW Bus to a hard top? I want a hard top VW Bus 1972 - 1974. I noticed a pop-up style for sale on an online auction. Has anyone ever heard of a Stainless Steel Roof?? I am a dealer that purchased a 2006 Cadillac STS at an online auction and found it has a roof made in Stainless Steel. I can't find anywhere that deals in this type of aftermarket accessory. The top looks as if it was a factory option since it is so well installed, but nothing I can find verifies that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! A CarFax report wont tell me if a vehicle has aftermarket accessories and where to get them.

Can I buy a Commercial Property & turn it into a Residential Property? I have been searching for months now (about 9 months) for an Apartment in the Clerkenwell/Shoreditch/Hoxton/ Spitalfields/Whitechapel area & am giving up hope. I've registered with countless Estate Agents, looked online at various websites that collaborate all Properties into one website, been to too many to mention buildings, houses, apartments and looked into auctioned properties and I'm considering, if it's possible to buy a Commercial Unit. What I'm looking for is a 2 bedroom Property, in the above areas, with outside space (not a Juliet Balcony), not on the Ground or First floor, unless it's a house at a budget of no more than £800,000. I have been shown the bottom of the barrel, the places no one wants to buy, hence the reason the properties I have seen are still on the market! (& people can't afford them as they are over-priced by home owners thinking they are worth that amount and greedy Estate Agents). My question is, is it legal to buy an office space (say on the 2nd etc or top floor) of a warehouse and convert it myself into a residential Property? I was thinking of making it into a live/work apartment, as the size of it would be great for a home/studio. The only drawback of course, is the amount of work/cost that would go into it building a kitchen/bathroom/wiring/restoration /council permits maybe etc, but this is something I am willing to consider. I am fully aware of the Recession, the Property Market problems, home owners holding back 6months to a year till they sell their property etc. and now might be a great time to buy, but if it is, why would you sell? Can you translate these runes? My friend bought several boxes of random items at an auction. I found a very interesting pendant while we looked through the contents of the boxes. It is a rectangular metal pendant with a strange face with ears on top of head and it appears to be vines growing around from face and into mouth and around head...not sure what it is. On the back of the pendant, which is on a long metal chain, is a bold inscription: (there are what appears to be runes but:) It resembles BRDB DANMARK the "D" is shaped more rune-like like a triangle, on its side, and the "B"s are the same, where there is a round shape, it is pointy. The "A"s look exactly like a modern Capital A. The "N" looks like a anglo-saxon rune for the letter U. uruz also pointy, not curved. Hope that describes it enough. There is something very strange about the pendant. It seems to be very unusual. I tried to look it up online, did not see or read of other pendants like this one. It does not appear to be very old, maybe it is. Maybe it is just some creepy tourist shop necklace for sale somewhere in Sweden. Thanks for your help or advice everybody! The suppliers have changed their old packaging into new packaging and that's why they put all the old packaging on online auction. Lucky me, I was among the first ones to bid, and manage to buy at very cheap prices. I really think I can sell these 100% pure and top quality honeys but I don't know where to find my potential buyers? I don't mind deliver them overseas. Btw, I can order as many honey as I want at the prices that I won. So, supply wouldn't be a problem. Currently, I only have one small buyer from Malaysia. Anonymous Prepaid Credit card? So... I want a prepaid credit card which i can get in a different name and address. It's because i was suspended from Ebay, totally unfairly (I did nothing wrong!) but i need to get back onto it to sell as its my livelyhood and no other auction sites are coming close. i downloaded an ebook which told me how to get back onto ebay but i need a prepaid credit card in my "new" address and name. Heywood-wakefield Desk whats it worth!!? I bought a Heywood-Wakefield desk at auction about 6 years ago and can find no reference to this style desk anywhere. it looks more traditional with brass handles. Do people know when car dealerships have hugh discount sales it can be a ripoff? I bought a car during a weekend only sale. 3k off the sales price. I use a credit card and they financed the rest. The amount I put down on credit card was the over amount they charged. I did not know it till I got home and did a kelly book check. Turns out the car was a manufacture mellon that was only 2 years old. It was nearly perfect but it had a air-condition leak that cased a hugh mold problem. They put the car on the lot with out dealer papers and say it was just traded in by an earlier customer. It still needed to be safe inspected and they would remove the stale smell at that time. I was charged 22,000 dollars with interest on a Volkswagenn Passatt with only 52000 miles. They worked on it 2 times for the smell. The only way is to completetly remove all the interior carpet, seats, and cloth material. They disguised the smell with some spray which after one day returned so bad we had to have all the windows down just to breath. I ended bringing it back and paid 2 thousand dollars to get my old car back. I would have lost 8 thousand if i hadn't. The kelly blue book is only 14k on a car in mint shape with same mileage. Also the car fact site showed the car had been in an accident and was sold in auction 6 months prior and no other sale. The dealors use these mailings to force people to buy without knowing what is wrong. They say the car will sell with the next customer because of the 3k deal they offer with the mailing. Also the new electronics are soo bad they constantly are in the shop. Its a hugh scam!!!! The only way to buy one is to have a lap top computer that can get online at the dealorship at the time you look at the car. They move the cars to the next dealership so its not there after you have gone home to check the carfax. So what people are saying is ..if a company employee can lie and cheat to get someone to buy there product its your fault because they have 50 years of experiance lieing to your being a honest person and wanting life to be fair. Almost 70 per cent of students say they hated family days out as youngsters and wished their parents had left them to amuse themselves. Look at barrera-autosales.com, autoaven,com and stars-auto.com they have made some changes to the web page but it is still a scam site quote Denver News BBB Flooded With Complaints On 2 Auto Auction Sites Stars-Automart, Autoaven Sent Cease And Desist Letters POSTED: 12:41 pm MDT August 11, 2009 DENVER -- The Denver office of the Better Business Bureau said its telephone helpline has been jammed with calls from people across the country who are asking about two auto sales Web sites that claim to be headquartered in Denver. According to the BBB, calls have been nonstop and the BBB has sent a "cease and desist" notice regarding trademark infringement to the company because of a fake BBB report the sites link to that falsely shows the company with an A+ rating. The two Web sites list one physical address as 10701 W. Sixth Ave, but that address actually belongs to BBB Accredited business, Automotive Avenues, Inc. Another link goes to 3925 Monaco Parkway, which actually belongs to Cintas Document Management -- a paper shredding company. The two Web sites, www.stars-automart.com and www.autoaven.com, claim to offer sales of repossessed vehicles. The BBB said customers complain that once a majority payment is sent via MoneyGram to a Denver address, the company ceases communication. The company has not responded to the BBB. An Internet check shows the two domain names are registered to a private registration company in Sunnyvale, Calif. The BBB said it sent out the warning because on-delivery and Internet auction fraud were the top two complained-about fraud types at the Internet Crime Complaint Center. "The BBB takes complaints very seriously and does not want any more consumers to be victimized," a news release stated. TheDenverChannel attempted to contact the Web sites without success. The phone number listed on the site goes to a recording, which suggests callers contact them by e-mail. The same section of the stars-automart.com Web site lists a James Stewart as the owner. To protect from online scams, the BBB has the following suggestions: • Verify any organization credentials with the organization directly, (BBB, AutoTrader, Consumer Reports logos, etc.) • Check the company’s BBB report at www.denver.bbb.org or by calling 303-758-2100. Only do business online with websites you are familiar with and that have a positive track record. • Make sure the website has a privacy policy. It will contain agreements on how the information you provide on the website will be used and kept private and secure. Print this and keep it in your records. • The privacy policy may also contain the company’s mailing address. Only do business with companies that provide a sure method of contact, should something go wrong. • Do not wire transfer any payment. Wired funds cannot be traced and therefore cannot be recovered if you are a victim of fraud. • If you have become a victim of fraud, contact your BBB and the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov to file a complaint. Please dont fall for this and report them to law enforcement
